Exploring new possibilities with Groupe Roullier
Doing better, doing differently. That is how we operate.
Because for more than 60 years, we have made innovation and continuous improvement our daily challenge. Because in the Group, we believe strongly in people’s capacity to accomplish much more than they imagine.
Our diverse range of activities (soil, plant and animal nutrition, agrifood) are centred around human needs and demonstrate the openness of our Group, in touch with the challenges of the future.

Inventing tomorrow, driving excellence
A global ambition dedicated to innovation
As a key driver of our performance, our innovation capability was embodied in 2015 through the creation of the CMI Roullier (Centre Mondial de l’Innovation) – a collaborative interdisciplinary research hub. The CMI brings together the R&D teams from all our business units, along with hundreds of researchers and academic partners from around the world.
By anticipating major scientific and agricultural shifts, the CMI invents cutting-edge technologies and develops new products to meet future environmental, regulatory and economic challenges.

Boundless innovation
Why the Innovation Awards Roullier (IAR)?
Groupe Roullier nurtures a core belief that innovation can be sparked. Solutions already exist – they are evolving, waiting to be connected, supported and recognised. These are the ideas the Roullier Innovation Awards aim to uncover.
More than just entrants, we are looking for future partners ready to be disruptors and take on the unprecedented challenges facing tomorrow’s agriculture. More than a competition, the Roullier Innovation Awards are a tangible and long-term support initiative launched by the researchers at the CMI Roullier (Centre Mondial de l’Innovation) in a global, structured and demanding environment.
The 2025-2026 edition, focusing on marine resources, continues a legacy of major projects led by the CMI Roullier that demonstrate how exploration often leads to breakthrough discoveries.
