Call for innovative solutions to shape the agriculture of tomorrow

The Innovation Awards Roullier were created to reward projects proposing innovative solutions aligned with Groupe Roullier’s activities (soil, plant and animal nutrition, agri-food).

Through the 2025-2026 edition of the Innovation Awards Roullier, focused on the theme of marine resources, the Group is celebrating its origins and promoting marine ecosystems as high-potential areas for research and innovation for sustainable agriculture – from sea to farm.

Following a rigorous scientific and technical evaluation process, conducted by a panel of six international experts, three projects were awarded prizes:

His project aims to optimise the growth conditions for pigment-rich microalgae, with a view to confirming their antioxidant and immunomodulatory potential, which offers benefits for the growth, health and quality of products derived from poultry trials.

His project aims to scale up a proven prototype that converts fish waste into liquid fertilisers and microencapsulated powders, optimise the stability of the formulations, and move towards an industrial pilot.

His project proposes a solution for cultivating maërl in ponds and open-sea systems, supporting the restoration of maërl beds whilst integrating agricultural innovation with marine conservation.

Everything you need to know about the Innovation Awards Roullier (IAR).

Who can apply to the Innovation Awards Roullier?

The competition is open to any participant affiliated with a public entity (non-profit organisation, university, research institute) or private entity (startup, innovative company) with a project aligned with the theme of the current IAR.

How do I apply?

Applications must be submitted via the “Apply” page between 25 June 2025 and 30 September 2025 at 11.59pm (UTC+2). The application form must be in English, complete and in the required format.

Will my project remain confidential after submission?

Yes, all application form will be processed in the utmost confidentiality. Only the organising team and judges will have access to the submitted application form. However, if you are a winner, part of your project will be shared in Groupe Roullier’s communications, with your consent.
