The winners

Project on miRNAs to improve soil health

  • Dr. Abdelhak EL AMRANI

  • Dr. Cécile MONARD

The originality of the proposed project lies in a novel approach to modulating natural interactions between plant roots and soil microorganisms, occurring in the rhizosphere, to promote microbial populations that are beneficial to plant health and nutrition.

Project on nutritional efficiency

  • Dr. Mateus GIONBELLI

  • Dr. Marcio DUARTE

By improving the global understanding of physiological and biochemical mechanisms involved – and correlating zootechnical data with “omics” data from cutting-edge biological technologies – this project aims to optimise nitrogen and phosphorus nutrition during early bovine development.
